The Stiller Centre Team:

Glen Smeltzer (MBA, P. Eng), the Centre's current Interim President, has over 19 years experience working with emerging technology companies, both as a start-up CEO and in early-stage venture capital.  His contribution to the Centre focuses on diligence in strategic planning, overview of Stiller Operations and structuring of a dynamic entrepreneurial culture within the Stiller Centre and the greater commercialization community.

Lee Smithson (BSc.) is an experienced program developer with deep experience in laboratory management, program design and in sales.  His combination of skills and experience offer a deep resource to tenants and his knowledge ensures the development of the Shared Services Program and Convergence Lab is to the highest standards. As General Manager, Lee manages and coordinates the daily operations and programs of the Stiller Centre.

Aggie Armstrong (BA) received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Western Ontario.  Aggie provides Administrative Management and internal control for the Stiller Centre. She also manages the Centre‘s Communications capacity by maintaining the website (www.stillercentre.com), creating and publishing Centre’s quarterly newsletter, The BioGrid, and the Centre's marketing brochures and news releases. Aggie also coordinates all of the Centre's events throughout the year.

Geoff Wicks-Nicholls is a dedicated Facilities Manager who ensures the building operates efficiently at all times.  Geoff manages and monitors security, waste and recycling disposal, site maintenance, equipment preventative demand maintenance and provides a host of customer support services to the tenants.

Paul Klages (BA, BEd, MLIS) joined the Stiller Centre in June 2008. As the Industry Research Associate, he provides leadership and direction for the development and application of research concepts and information tools for the Stiller Centre.  Previously, he played a significant role in a corporation's knowledge repository and content management solution.  Currently, he aggregates business trends and competitive information and distributes it to the Stiller Centre's tenants and business networks.

Jennifer Dawe is the Manager of the Convergence Laboratory.  Jennifer received her degree in Applied Technology-Biotechnology from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. In this role, she assures effective laboratory operations and oversees day-to-day laboratory activities, including the smooth operation of essential scientific equipment and laboratory automation.

Ashley MacMillan is the newest member of the Stiller Centre team.  She is the Administrative Assistant and has various duties such as accounting, room bookings and supportive staff services among others.  Ashley is currently working on a Green Project with hopes of updating the Stiller Centre to become a part of the Green Revolution.
